Don't let the low price fool you. Bang for your buck, the Cheetah APTMM2B is one of the best tilting LCD TV wall mount out there. For a bargain price you get a solid steel frame, generous bag of mounting hardware and a 6" bubble level just for good measure. If you have some basic DIY skills you should have everything installed in less than an hour.

The mount consists of a horizontal backplate that attaches to the wall, plus two vertical metal bars that screw to the back of your TV and hook onto the backplate much like a picture frame. Additional screws lock the frame securely in place.

The 30" wide backplate has elongated holes running along the top and bottom which gives you a lot of leeway to get the mount centered on the wall and still be over the studs. Use a stud finder to locate the studs, then drill a single hole first so as as you can check the horizontal alignment (a separate bubble level is included for this purpose). There is no way to adjust this after the plate is mounted so it pays to get the holes straight the first time through. If not then you'll have no choice but to drill additional holes.

This mount fits flush against the wall, especially in the upright position, with zero degree tilt. Depending on the model of your flat panel display you might find you have very little room to make the necessary connections at the back. A simple solution is to add some spacers (included) to create a little extra clearance.

It supports hole patterns up to 28" (711mm) wide by 19" (483mm) tall. Basically this should fit virtually any 32-55" plasma or LCD TV including VESA 100x100, 200x200, 300x300, 400x400 and 400x600.

All in all, the Cheetah APTMM2B is a great little TV wall mount at a rock bottom price that is more than up to the job.
